Meet JamesZini

As a child, I was fascinated by magic. As a teenager, I began learning the secrets behind the tricks and discovered how much fun it was to share that wonder with others. What started as a childhood hobby eventually became a career, and I've now spent nearly 17 years doing what I love as a full-time entertainer!

For me, the greatest reward has always been the smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments I get to create for others. Through Learning Through Wonder, I bring that same passion and excitement to science, mathematics, and hands-on creativity—encouraging children to explore, discover, and experience the joy of learning.

Family, Magic & Meaningful Moments

For me, magic has always been about more than tricks and entertainment. It's about bringing people together, sharing laughter, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

As a husband and father, I know how special those moments can be. One of my favorites was Ana's surprise birthday party. With a little help from our children, I planned a special magic routine just for her. But this trick had an unexpected ending—I asked her to marry me!

It's moments like these that remind me why I love being an entertainer. Whether I'm performing for a family, teaching a child their first magic trick, or watching students proudly take the stage, there's something incredibly rewarding about helping create memories people will cherish for years to come.

Service & Community

I'm proud to have served five years in the United States Navy, an experience that took me halfway around the world and gave me memories and friendships that have stayed with me throughout my life.

My journey began with boot camp and training in Chicago. From there, I joined my ship, which was already deployed to the Middle East during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Our ship was homeported in Yokosuka, Japan, where I spent a great deal of time and had the opportunity to experience life in a part of the world far from home.

One of the most unforgettable experiences of my Navy service came in the Philippines, when Mount Pinatubo erupted. Our ship was there during the eruption, helping evacuate people from Clark Air Base as the disaster unfolded around us.

I eventually returned to California, where I was assigned to a helicopter mine countermeasures squadron at Naval Air Station Alameda, completing my five years of service before the base closed.

Looking back, I'm grateful for the places I traveled, the experiences we shared, and especially the people I had the privilege of serving alongside. Those five years will always be an important part of who I am.
